Aegis [A Post-Apocalyptic LitRPG Progression Fantasy]

The world has been destroyed by eldritch creatures known as the Corrupted, driving humanity to the brink of extinction. Only the strength provided by the System allows them to hang on by a hair's breadth. Once per year, those who have come of age in the past year are given the opportunity to take the Pilgrimage and gain the power of the System. Uric is called for the Pilgrimage this year, ready to grasp this power for himself in order to fight off the Corrupted, and protect those close to him.
