Horizon's Edge [Space Opera/Sci-Fi | LitRPG]

Updates M-W-F Felix Conway is glitched. Waking adrift in a damaged space capsule, he has no memory of his past and the only clues to his identity are his uniform and a handful of personal belongings. Nestled among them is a photo of a young woman who he can't remember but knows he would give anything to see again. But getting home isn't easy; Felix has 'Jumped' between universes, landing where reality is under the watchful eye of an ever-present System. Jumpers like him aren't unknown, but his integration is interrupted, leaving him without any assigned class or abilities. To make matters worse, a glitched Jumper brings chaos in their wake, something the self-appointed guardians of order in the System will not tolerate. To get home, Felix will need to unlock his past and progress in the System, all while finding his footing in this new universe and surviving the Admins hunting him. Horizon's Edge is a soft Sci-Fi LitRPG with progression and a portaled protagonist, for fans of Firefly and the games Freelancer and Escape Velocity, with a dash of EVE all served up on a bed of Traveller.  It's been written in a style closer to older, traditional SF and we'll see the crew and Felix celebrate success and suffer personal setbacks.   What to Expect: Spaceships Battles Upgrades Pirates Smuggling Trading Memory-Based Skill Unlocks A lot of debt Found Family Crew MC Mixed OP Expert and Novice Slow Burn Plotting Character Focus Traditional-Style SF Pacing & Story Failures & Successes Ups & Downs What you won't see:  Unchecked Power Fantasy Untouchable Protagonist Cover Art A (Starship over green planet) is used by License, drawn by Ayan Nag.
