System vs. System, Player vs. Player. A fantasy world gets caught in a battle between forces far, far beyond them. They come from a different world. They don't hunger and they don't need sleep. They don't bleed when struck, and they can fall thousands of meters without suffering harm.  The worst thing is, they see it all as a game. They're Players. Cain Thompson wakes up in a foreign fantasy world, with no memory of what happened or caused him to come here. Soon enough, he finds himself exhibiting abilities far beyond the ordinary, and a little pop-up window of stats follows him around egging him on. That's supposed to be a good thing, right? But he's not the first to show up and he won't be the last, and when people go around using abilities that make a mockery of the world they live...
