Rise of the Outlander

[On break, will be returning with periodic chapters] Life in a monster infested jungle is hard enough without your village burning to the ground. After witnessing the destruction of her home, one lonely survivor is left with little chance of survival. Only the fortuitous discovery of ancient magic offers any hope, but will this system be enough? Join Kyo as she takes on the world armed with little more than her wits and a bit of magic. What to expect: A smart, though naive MC. A strong emphasis on worldbuilding. A unique lit-rpg system and a hard magic system. A mix of fast-paced action and calmer exploration and experimentation. A plot that begins simple and grows more complex with time. Content Warnings: Fantasy violence with limited descriptions of gore. Depictions of slavery and other injustices. Potential mentions of other traumatizing content without explicit descriptions. This is my first attempt at writing a novel, so I openly welcome and encourage revision suggestions and/or critiques so that I may grow to be a more proficient author. Book 1 of 3 is finished. Currently posting book 2.
